What makes this Pub/Inn special/unique?
So called because the Red Post a few minutes stroll down the road was where those convicted by Dorchester’s assizes spent their first night en route to embarkation for Australia, this friendly little pub in the lovely Dorset countryside works hard to make kids welcome, with a simple, good value menu for younger palates. Dogs are welcome too, although as yet there is not as yet a menu de mutt

What is there to see and do nearby? Historic Red Post just down the road where the convicts en route to Australia spent their last night before heading off to the colonies.
