What makes this Pub/Inn special/unique?
Excellent access from the A355, and a huge garden,make this a great pub, at which to spend the day.
What is there to see and do nearby? Many walks pass nearby, and ample parking mean you can leave your vehicle, at the pub, and have easy access to the beautiful Chilterns.
As a veggie, I really appreciate being able to have 'Just the Veg' for a Sunday lunch!

Highly recommend !!! Had pork belly, with fab crackling, bubble 'n' squeak and THE best braised red cabbage.. will defo be going back!!!

Great, dog friendly pub, in a fantastic area. We went for a nice walk, with the dogs and went to the pub for lunch. Great food, will be back soon.

never disappointed with the food - the most basic food feels special - the atmosphere is calm and the staff are spot on : there for you but discretely.

I took my mum today for a birthday treat, she had sausage and mash, I had fish and chips, both excellent. We enjoyed the craft ciders too.

I went to the quiz a couple of weeks ago, it was brilliant fun, I had gorgeous shepherds pie to eat

Chicken Pie (10.50) had just two shreds of chicken in it. Manager said the pie filling is a mix so if it has little chicken, thats just tough. Ugh!
