What makes this Pub/Inn special/unique?
We are a traditional, mainly 17th century country pub with 2 bars, a restaurant and ample outside space and parking. Timber beams, low ceilings, an open fire and comfy seating create a warm and cosy environment for both drinking and eating. We offer three excellent, well kept real ales and a mainly locally sourced, freshly cooked traditional menu. We pride ourselves on being a pub to both drink and eat in unlike many pubs which have now become wholly food focussed.

What is there to see and do nearby? Pulborough Brooks RSPB Nature Reserve. Set in the heart of beautiful countryside, this reserve is a fantastic day out for people of all ages. Walks lead through hedge-lined paths to viewing areas and hides where volunteers are often on hand to help point out the wildlife. Petworth House (National Trust). A magnificent country house and park with in an internationally important art collection including works by Turner, Van Dyke and carvings by Grinling Gibbons. The village of West Chiltington itself is set on the edge of the Sussex Downs, with miles of public footpaths and bridleways, taking in some stunning scenary including 2 local award winning vineyard, Nutbourne and Nyetimber.

Harveys, London Pride and Langhams on tap - Langhams on form - driving though so only the one. Didn't eat.
